Strict adherence to operating procedures is required during go-kart use to ensure the safety of the driver and others at the venue. Before driving, conduct a comprehensive vehicle inspection-checking the steering system, braking system, tires, powertrain, and connecting components-and confirm there are no irregularities before entering the track. Drivers must wear necessary safety gear (such as helmets, neck braces, protective suits, and gloves) and fasten their seatbelts as required to ensure effective personal protection.
Start smoothly by gradually pressing the accelerator pedal; avoid sudden acceleration or stomping on the gas, which could cause a loss of control. While driving, keep both hands on the steering wheel, maintain a proper seating position, keep your eyes on the road ahead, and adjust your speed appropriately for curves and straightaways.
Decelerate before entering curves and steer smoothly and continuously; avoid jerky steering movements or high-speed cornering to minimize the risk of skidding or fishtailing.
Strictly observe venue regulations while driving: do not drive against the flow of traffic, engage in malicious collisions, chase other karts, or perform dangerous overtaking maneuvers. When overtaking, choose a safe section of the track with good visibility and maintain a safe distance. If a vehicle ahead breaks down or is involved in an accident, slow down, steer clear, and follow the instructions of track personnel. If the vehicle experiences power issues, brake failure, or steering malfunctions, slow down and stop immediately, report the issue to on-site staff, and do not continue driving.
After the session, slowly drive the vehicle into the designated parking area, shut down the power system once the kart has come to a complete stop, and exit the vehicle according to established procedures. Perform a quick post-drive inspection; if loose parts, abnormal tire wear, or other faults are detected, record the issue and notify maintenance staff for repair. Proper operation not only ensures safety but also reduces wear and tear, extends the kart's service life, and improves operational efficiency and reliability.
